Speaking of waltzes named for states, I also like The Kentucky Waltz by Bill Monroe & His Blue Grass Boys (1946), which has a similar theme as the Tennessee Waltz.

I also like The Missouri Waltz by Eddy Howard (1946), but you won't hear it on any radio station today, for obvious reasons. The Fontaine Sisters' version, also from 1946, is more politically correct, so it might pass muster.
