The Democrats moved toward impeachment.
Drudge is doing what Drudge does, draw attention to what he thinks are important stories and provides links to lots of news sources in one place. I am not a fan of Drudge as much as I was, because I view most of the news as propaganda more than informative. In this case, I do not see what he did wrong.

Yes, it reminds me of the harangue scene in Orwell's "1984".

Matt Drudge is the only member of the media I trust. He is overtly pro-life and brings attention to issues that no one else in the media will expose. He has been a consistent friend to conservatives for over two decades. In addition, he has close connections to the White House and has been quite even handed to it. This is an issue where the President has done nothing wrong and his chief rival has everything to lose. It is also taking gun control and other issues more perilous to the President completely off the table. I have no doubt that this whole ordeal will eventually fall to the President’s advantage. Despite all this whining from people here with nothing better to do than disparage one of the few friends we have in the media, Matt Drudge (and President Trump) will be fine. The news today couldn’t have been better for conservative prospects in 2020. Matt Drudge is one of the good guys.

Agree with both citizenfreepress.com and thelibertydaily.com sites being superior to drudge.
drudge tends to push (via link placement, highlighting, etc) Anti-Trump articles. Stuff that is generally "resist" and never trumper.
The main issue that I have with thelibertydaily.com is that it is FILLED with ads, many of which are embedded videos and animated gifs which run on page load. It's horribly taxing on a computer's RAM and CPU....you can hear it when your CPU fan has to rev up.
Just get a decent ad blocker to prevent most of the bloat, and it becomes a useable site.
A privileged phone call between two world leaders is NOT as important as Trump meeting with nearly ALL world leaders at the United Nations AND ENGAGING IN VITAL AGREEMENTS.. But EMASCULATED AMERICA seems preoccupied with looking at a few words in a conversation and picking them apart like two high school girls having a SPAT during lunch hour.
THE DEEP STATE MEDIA PRODUCTION of these hearings are an EMBARRASSMENT to the world.
