I agree, as well chemo leaves long term effects, in my case painful numbness and tingling of my hands and feet. But, it is still worth it. Besides, with the passage of time it has lessened to some extent (or else I have gotten used to it.)

I keep thinking that someday people will look back at chemo and see it as barbaric. Besides which sometimes the chemo strengthens the cells it seeks to kill in a sort of "survival of the fittest" evolving method. This is why sometimes cancer comes back "with a vengence".
