10 years for murder? Jeez, people get longer sentences for bank fraud
That is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. There are a whole lot of people doing more time for stupid crimes than you are likely to do for taking a human life. The law's #1 priority MUST be the protection of human life.
Started to irk me when Pennsylvania passed a law mandating longer sentences for killing a police DOG (which is often more than you'd get for manslaughter).

And your not allowed to defend yourself against them.?? I believe it's in the state of Texas where you have a right to defend yourself against deadly force from ANYONE, even from the police... (?)
