What happens if you’re found to be violating a store’s gun-free policy? Is it a criminal infraction?

Yes, in Texas, if you conceal carry when the business properly posts the required legal ban statute, you can lose your concealed carry license and face possible criminal prosecution for illegal carrying of a weapon.

Of course, they would have to know you are carrying, which is unlikely because it’s CONCEALED.

In Minnesota, the signs mean nothing. If a official representative of the business asks you to leave, however, then you must leave or you are trespassing. Does not affect your permit at all.
