It’s funny how, when you read the story, it belies the headline. It's a common practice in sensationalist journalism to write exaggerated headlines designed to sucker you into reading the article. Think the National Enquirer's "Elvis' Two-headed Love Child Found in Michigan Convenience Store!" types of things.
It used to be typical in tabloids, but unfortunately has spread to so-called "legitimate" publications as well.
