A special meeting was set last week for the public to speak up on whether transgender students should be allowed unrestricted access to locker rooms in the District 211 high schools. District 211 is the largest high school district in Illinois with 12,000 students and five high schools.

I think we should all fully support this act and in doing so, A ballot Initiative should be started to amend the State Constitution MANDATING ALL Public Employee’s in the State send their offspring to the Public School System, and make it a FELONY to do otherwise.

The first, very sensible response of many (probably virtually all) schools when the trans issue surfaced was to offer quiet workarounds, typically a designated separate facility, or at least a screened or partitioned area, or perhaps a separate time for showering and dressing. My guess is that virtually all trans kids would have accepted this with a sigh of relief. It is the activist groups that rejected such special accommodations, because they wanted to assert the complete normalization of gender differences via the smashing of all barriers and full integration with the normal population. Most of the "girls" with a penis probably feel profoundly uncomfortable showing with the real girls. It is the activist groups that have a dogmatic ideological insistence that they do so, whether they actually want to or not.
That said: in this particular school, they will soon have four separate shower areas, each with doors for privacy. All will be designated as gender neutral. This will satisfy the activists, who will have won their ideological point. In the real world, however, what will happen is that the boys will all go to one of the locker rooms, the girls will go to another, and the other two will be used by any non-conforming students who just want to take a shower without making a scene. This will develop over time as a de facto special accommodation in all but name.
