It used to be assumed that the Autobahn was built in a manner which would allow it to be used as landing strips for the military. That wasn’t true but the American interstate highway system was built with that in mind.

Yup,but I must say that it was “frisky”! It's the type of car that would give an old geezer like me,a guy who sets the cruise control at 69 on I-95,a fatal stroke! And it almost did!
