All I can say is that waxing under the arm is incredibly painful because of the soft skin; it is not the same as leg waxing. And I mostly avoid shaving because of both scarring and cording under the arm.

Years ago, I had my legs lasered, and that has been awesome. I love not having to shave there. I wish I would have had my armpits lasered as well, but not sure if that is wise at this point.

I will take the risk of shaving under the arms if I am wearing something that warrants it. But otherwise, no.

I have no idea the severity of your underarm scarring but I assume it’s bad

And it’s not my business so I’m not asking

I have known women with implants done under the arm and they shaved that scar though it’s not a super bad

I’ve got a major scar running mid belly to throat and it gets shaved for ekg and other surgeries

I have disclosed about all I have on scars and shaving lol....folks should shave what’s comfortable scarred or not....shaving lady parts in general has always seemed dangerous to me and I’m old so it’s not something I ever favored beyond what necessary for a string bikini bottom
