FLORENCE, S.C. – Former Vice President Joe Biden, a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 2020 presidential race, was denied Holy Communion on Sunday morning at a Florence church.
Father Robert E. Morey of Saint Anthony Catholic Church confirmed Monday afternoon that he had denied the presidential candidate Holy Communion because of his stance on abortion. Biden, a lifelong Catholic, had attended the church's 9 a.m. Mass.
Communion is one of seven sacraments in the Roman Catholic Church. The others are baptism, reconciliation, confirmation, marriage, anointing of the sick and holy orders.

Our actions should reflect that. Any public figure who advocates for abortion places himself or herself outside of Church teaching.”
Those men, evil as they were, didn’t suffer fools gladly. None of them would’ve had Biden as an underling.
I would have paid $5 to record the look on his face when the priest did that..

Unfortunately the Roman church is so non-centralize, incoherent and wishy washy on doctrine and its enforcement, Biden can probably walk down the street for Holy Communion.

Personally I don’t think the priest had that right or authority. Unless the Catholic Church excommunicates Joe, if he shows up for communion he should be allowed. Maybe Joe went to confession just before and was purified (look at first sentence).
And if his soul is not pure enough for communion that is between Joe and God.
As a wayward Catholic to over 40 years that has recently tried to rejoin the flock I know I am not fit to judge. However, I believe God will rightly judge the scumbag.
You guys are in BIG trouble.
