I will say unequivocally right now, if the republicans allow this impeachment to go forward, I will never, never vote again. Why? So that our vote can be overturned? Lawyers elected to a legislature have an automictic conflict of interest. In their own self-interest they will make laws that benefit lawyers first and occasionally the people.

I think mob rule has become commonplace worldwide, as the belief in a higher authority has been diminished, and in the void being created is being replaced with humanism as the guiding factor in discourse.

Humanism is a philosophical and ethical stance that emphasizes the value and agency of human beings, individually and collectively, and generally prefers critical thinking and evidence over acceptance of dogma or superstition.

Humanism replacing belief in a creator is the ultimate downfall of civilized mankind.
