I remember literally quivering with anticipation as I opened That Hideous Strength for the first time in high school. It remained my favorite book for years.

I re-read it five years ago after 25 years and found the first 60 pages to be excruciating. Having just finished OOtSP and Perelandra, I’m raring to go.
