Media insiders tell me the CBS offer was just too good to pass up. Over the summer, Herridge’s contract lapsed and she was sorting out her future. Everyone I spoke with stressed how well-liked she is within Fox News.

She was a shinning bright spot of ethics, fairness and professionalism in the FNC “News Division”. Wallace and drama queen Shep could have taken some lessons from her if they wanted to ever be real journalists.
I hope cBS won’t spike her reporting but suspect she will collect a lot of salary and have little to report unless she violates her ethics. Nonetheless I wish her all the best!

I suspect CBS wants to go middle of the road and stop with all the Trump bashing and obtain new audience numbers.
Their advertisers have to be giving them heat over poor numbers.

Why are they reporting non-facts in the first place? Between CBS This Morning and NorDUH O'Donnell, both shows in LAST ratings place, all they do is trash Trump. They could be reporting on a girl scout cookie change and they will make it anti-Trump, it's unwatchable. I was watching CBS This morning reporting on the World Series, amazingly NO anti-=Trump editorializing and the report was actually entertaining - that's what they need to do if they want to find success.
Ryan’s presence, there, is enough to boycott FOX, for guests appearing on Hannity and Lou DOBBS.
Bream seems good, but needs to take over McCallum’s earlier hour. And, LAURA is a clatter mouth who only occasionally pulls in a really vital guest. If she lets the speak coherently.
