Years ago, insomnia drove me to listen to Art Bell and, listening to him, I soon became a fan. His warmth and engagement with callers were especially in evidence when he did “Ghost to Ghost.”
I LOVE going on Ghost Tours in older cities.
They tell you about the history of the middle class and the poor. The way I figure I wouldn’t be living in the castle, I’d be scrubbing the floors!
Savannah and Edinburg have the best. London’s and Alexandria aren’t bad. Berlin’s were just plain weird.

Really could not stand Bell. Like Noory a lot. He does not say anything political but sometimes has commentators on who are just about universally conservative.
Nevertheless, I’d rather read a book and fall asleep at 10.

Yeah, Art engaged the callers, and established a conversational dynamic with them. That is what made his show enjoyable.
