One of my favorite movies is “Son of Fury” with Tyrone Power. She played Eve, the island girl.

Unfortunately, TCM doesn’t show it often.

Yes, Gene Tierney was so beautiful. My favorites were The Razor's Edge and Leave Her to Heaven (which scared the wits out of me).

I’m sure I saw at least a couple of those movies a long time ago, and don’t remember much about them. When I read her name in the title I thought about Hawkeye Pierce who said in one episode of MASH how he was attracted to her because of her overbite.

I’m sure Alan Alda said it funnier than I just did.

There are a lot of old films you can watch on YouTube and if you have a smart tv it’s easy otherwise connect your phone to your tv via hdmi . But if TCM owns them it’s no good.
She was a beauty.

She suffered from depression and some of the depression may have resulted from the birth of her daughter Daria, who was deaf, partially blind and mentally disabled, the result of a fan breaking a rubella quarantine and infecting the pregnant Tierney while she volunteered at the Hollywood Canteen.

Even in her later years, she was still a very beautiful woman- it was the eyes, and shape of mouth i think- She never lost that certain look in the eyes-
