Eew, I wonder what use those have.
From what I understand, this picture was taken in Taiwan. Calmari substitute and cheap dumplings.
That photo was used a few years ago when it became known that the taste, texture, and appearance is overly similar to squid prepared for calamari.
By themselves, the pork version is used for “chit’lins”, or chitterlings, as the spell-checker is wont to change it.
Although, chitterlings usually from from the small intestine.
I suppose restaurants can get a higher economic return on a “calamari” dish, than it can from actually using squid.
Or an order of chit’ins, for that matter.
