Yeah, if a cat rubbed up against his leg ( like they do ) he would have shot it.

My only judgement is to the cop. I know what kind of place that is and sounds like they should have had Nurse Mildred Ratched on duty in stead of that fool. Then again I’m not in charge of the school systems there.
The officer successfully identified a threat and subsequently neutralized it. Everyone benefits.
Choices. The kid made the first mistake.
This officer deserves a medal for putting the young woman's behavioral rehabilitation above his own welfare and career.
