Heck I’d love to have that darned three-legged stool. Notice how the agent is propping it up with his toe. I’m sure that has some tactical significance but I don’t know what it is. That’s a great disappointment to me since I fancy myself as a three-legged stool expert of sorts, as they once (or twice perhaps) tried to teach me how to milk ol’ Bessie the cow while sitting on one. But, sure enough, the lesson never took and for the life of me, I don’t know why he’s propping it up with his toe!

The ancient Greeks seemed to really like tripods. If you think about it they are the sturdiest platform. At least on fairly level surfaces.

The binocular looks very much like a Nikon WX 10X50 IF. They start at over $6,000.
