None of his movies were ever on my must see list.
To me he was always a personality, period, and never an actor - just someone hired to portray his nasty self in a different role, because the role, the character, was like De Niro himself - nasty.
He says things and does things on film that he would be protesting to CNN for the same actions done in the real world...and has no problem taking million dollar paychecks for his inner hypocrisy. Sounds a lot like Joe and Hunter. A fraud.
