I love the OK Boomer for the irony. Another irony is that the snowflakes who say it are well programmed Boomer Bots who, long into the future, will advance the Boomer poison so carefully inculcated into them by the Leftist snarling hate-filled big mouths who initially were the Boomers to me.

As a Gen-Xer, I have several responses to Gen-Z (aka the “Homeland Generation”) lumping us all in with the “Karens”.
(1) Well, bless their little hearts.
(2) Winning a generational war only works when the other side actually cares. Gen-X has weaponised not caring. We generally DGAF what others think.
(3) Since we’re the Homeland Generation’s parents, all we have to do is threaten to take away their anxiety meds.
(4) Since even the *OLDEST* members of the Homeland Generation are indeed old enough to have passed that magical day in your teens, when you wake up one morning, thoroughly convinced that you know *EVERYTHING* (generally around 13 for girls, and 15-16 for boys), but not yet old enough to have reached the day, where it all comes crashing down, and you suddenly realise that you know nothing at all (late twenties to early thirties), until you get a few more years under those collective belts, I think that anything the Homeland Generation has to say at the moment, Gen-X will “take it under advisement”.
(5) Likewise, once the Homeland Generation has spent eight or nine years as latchkey children forced to raise themselves because their self-absorbed parents are too tied up in their own pursuits and interests to actually give two runny shits about raising their own children, they can come and talk to us. Until then... “Whatever you say, Chief.”
Learn nothing substantial and get pissed that you took out debt to pay for something that should be free.
What is an “OK boomer”? Is it a baby boomer who is dependable and measures up to standards or is it one whose accomplishments have been passable but not outstanding?
And I always thought of Karens as an ethnic group in Burma who have been waging a 70-year-long war against that country’s government. This thread is the first place I have seen members of generations referred to as “OK boomers” and “Karens.”.
Curious... I dislike Millenials intensely as a rule, but my daughter is Gen Z... and she and her friends seem to be a lot scrappier and funnier. THEY even make fun of the snow flakes... anecdotal evidence, I know.
Still, I’m a part time high school teacher — and unfortunately, I’ve been dubbed “The Cool Teacher” — but the Z’s are a joy to teach.

Systematic dehumanization is the first step to denying people their rights - and their lives.
And liberal colleges have been teaching kids for years (and growing more extreme in this regard) to hate their parents/elders for destroying the planet, oppressing X groups and hurting the kids in general.
That is why these young adults often honestly believe that they have to deny these “bad” groups the vote and want us to die.
