It’s a name that they have associated with a person who complains about everything. As a Gen Xer, none of this really bothers me. I just find it funny that the common thread is millennials. We all worked very hard to make it where we are in life. They think that things were just handed to us. They are truly the generation that just wants things given to them They don’t wanna have to work for anything, But they will go out and complain on the Internet about how the deck is stacked against them.

Most of us X-ers are just going through life, taking care of business in silence. Also, doing our best to avoid these people. Our “whatever, nevermind” attitude is why after 2004, people forget we exist. Thank goodness.

Zoomers can honestly find another group to tweak because we dont find people that just dont get on with it amusing or sympathetic.

Same with “Ok, Boomer”. Doesn’t really touch me except as a vacant response where they cannot rebuke a point with any viable riposte.

Now, think about that generation having to fight WWII. We'd have crumbled without raising a finger, and we'd all be deutsch sprechen
