“get past Matt Damon”
F that. Stupid Freepers getting a hard on for the same asshole who hates us conservatives..
Worse. I actually met her 2 years ago at the studios. Nice lady. But the more she opened her stupid mouth, the closer got to thinking of strangling her..
She’s a full blown commie worshipper.
Say what you like about Matt Damon, he is a very good actor I think. And I saw him on TV once and he seemed to have a sense of humor about American Patriot (whatever that puppet movie was called - hilarious!). Who knows if he’s still that sane? Hope so for his sake.
“A reboot of Charlie’s Angels... who thought that was a good idea? “
I can’t believe they’ve made yet another Charlie’s Angels, this explains why the djs were talking about it on the radio the other day.
Nobody here has a hard-on for Matt Damon.
Conservatives just appreciate that a rare film that celebrates masculinity, friendships, fatherhood, marriage, America, and fast, gas-guzzling cars opens at number 1 in the box office, while a hyper-liberal "woke" garbage film bombs.
FReepers here complain that Hollywood doesn't make movies for conservatives, that every film has to have some SJW liberal message. Looks like Hollywood is starting to listen. I think this is a trend that's worth enjoying.
If you want conservative films, go see them when they are being made.
Kristen Stewart is the worst.
I've learned to look past the idiot's ideology and focus on the story line and acting ability. If you don't also do that; you will never enjoy another movie starring left wing asshats. Just put it out of your mind and focus on the movie for those 2 hours or so.
That's what works for me anyway...
Just watched the movie and it was well worth it. Damn shame about the end though...
.
No matter how many times they try, the original Angels can’t be touched.
And, Lynda Carter is Wonder Woman.
I saw the first movie reboot of Charlie's Angels(2000).
It was OK.
Sure it was silly, but it did have some laughs. And Bill Murray.
I have absolutely NO idea why you would reboot a REBOOT in 2019.
Charlies Angels, the TV show was and is still in syndication.
It's still a hoot.
I knew Enzo shit on the Ford deal at the last minute but I wondered if he was that big of a turd.
We saw it today and really enjoyed it. Riveting. 2 1/2 hours flew by. I didnt look at my watch once.
We liked TWFI, too.
“Anyone who mentioned Kristen Stewart and Charlies Angels in the same sentence should have been shot......”
I was going to say something similar to that, but you said it so much better.
Saw the movie this afternoon and Breitbatr's review is dead on! great movie!
I had a little more interest in this movie that most, because I have owned 5 Shelby Mustangs since 1975. I still have a 1966 GT350 Shebly Mustang and have met Carroll Shelby personally.
Lucky you.
Matt Damon as Carroll Shelby! I want to puke. I don’t give a rat’s ass he is liberal. Hell, they are almost all liberal. He is just a light weight and Shelby was a bad ass mo fo. Damon can’t project Shelby in the least. He is a great ordinary Joe or guy next door. I just hated him as Jason Bourne. He had no gravitas at all to fill that role. Everytime he came on I just screamed inside for any actor that had a bit of threat or danger in him. Damon is a freaking lightweight. I can’t believe they keep giving him action roles and tough guy roles. He is the furthest thing from.
I hope he doesn’t ruin the movie. Everything else look great. Bale is finely cast.
Having never met him, all I can do is point at all the drivers that went One Step over the Line and died, trying to gain his approval.
He would pit drivers on his own team against each other, granting or withholding favors or better cars to push them to perform.
It was a real safety horror show. In a day when crash helmets were one step up from cardboard, no seat belts, no roll cages, "flame retardant" was dipping a cotton onesy in a borax solution, racing tires were only a little bit lighter than street tires, racing crowds could and did stand on the edge of the track, curbs were square and if you tapped one it was a trip into the trees, real ones, on the edge of the course, track crash crews were volunteers with no training, Ferrari could be seen as ruthless, even for the time.
Saw the previews to FvsF when I went to see Midway. Don’t care much for Matt Damon but could see that this was going to be a great popcorn flick.
As bad as it was death was always a passenger in those days. Now, when someone dies, everyone freaks out and wants to change all the rules. I guess that’s why nothing ever lasts forever.
