Execution were PUBLIC and there's NO "short walk" from inside The Tower.I've been there a couple of times, plus I have books about it's full history; which is fascinating. :-)

Even if you've never been there in person, once you know the factual history, just seeing TRAITOR'S GATE, in a movie, should send chills down one's spine.

And just think...it really started out as a Palace and a fort, for William the Conqueror. There are even chapels in it! :-)
