I have no doubt that you’re a well-read person. But, to me, the name of the newspaper doesn’t matter. DM, for example, has both good and bad articles. What really matters is the source of the information and the writer’s bias. Some news stories are nothing more than gossip, making conjecture, quoting unnamed sources or spreading rumors.
It’s interesting that a British prince married an American. To me, they’re like any other celebrity couple. I don’t agree with them on anything, but I wish all couples a happy marriage. They’re in another country where their ideas are in line with many Brits and maybe even the BRF, too. She’s a Dem. She’s right where she should be. If only we could talk other Dems into moving there.
The father obviously treated her well because he was doing well then. The half-siblings say they had a different experience growing up. As for paying for her private school tuition, that’s the parent’s choice. Public school would’ve been a choice, too. He chose differently.
The family members: First the half-sister trashed her to the media. She even planned to write a book about her. She’s no victim of any kind. Then the press reported on the father’s career and the half-brother’s troubles. Then the half-brother started complaining about her to the media. And then the father wouldn’t stop talking with the media. And on and on. It was a circus.
The half-siblings complained they weren’t invited to the royal wedding. Were they invited to her first wedding? Some stories out there claim the father didn’t even attend her first wedding. I don’t know if that’s true.
Yes, some on both sides of her extended family members have gone to the press with photos, etc. But, why reach out through the press? Why not through her mother?
Is she an opportunist? Maybe so. But all these people are adults. Prince Harry is a grown man. He and she made a decision, and now they’re a family.
And the DM has a lot of great articles, on ALL different topics.
When the DM quotes, verbatum, from other sources, suce as PEOPLE and VANITY FAIR, you can bet your last plug nickle that those 2 American magazines are 1) going to ONLY have pro-Sparkles article 2) the articles are quoting what MeAgain "friends" and/or MeAgain HERSELF has said/fed to her "friends" to say 3) were put out by the far lefty/Clintonista PR company, Sunshine Saks ( or however it's spelled ) that the Harkles and the Clintons share!
If you read anything about Sparkles in THE GUARDIAN...it's going to be "good" stuff and LEFTY stuff; that's a given!
The Sun is far more "tabloidy" than the others, but often gets thing first and correct.
The Sunday Times ( Brit paper and NOTHING at all to do with The N.Y. Times ! ) and The Telegraph are more "staid" and less "gossipy".

Harry has the IQ of 3 day roadkill. He hasn't ever grown up at all and all of his crazy stunts have been hidden/laughed off/excused in the past. None of the more suitable girls he ever seriously dated wanted to be tied to this loser; which should give you a hint about what he's REALLY like.
In earlier time, Price Philip would have taken him in hand and this marriage NEVER would have happened. In even earlier times, he would have been married off to some suitable minor princess of Aristo and that would have been that.
