I am not depressed. I am sick of him.

He was all so slightly before my time. I mean I always like the guy, but this commercial is suck a late night scam quality commercial I am sure are a bunch of old folk getting screwed on their medicare supplemental because of him.

He should know better.

I’m 58 and probably one of the the younger ones here.

Probably the same as how I felt when I saw Cheryl Ladd (from the original “Charlie’s Angels”, not the woke feminist garbage currently in theatres) pitching menopause meds. “I’m now officially old”, I announced to the room.

I saw good ol’ Carl in a Che shirt. That was enough to make me lose my lunch.

Once is enough; having to view this day after day rapidly increases the speed to our old age.

Same feeling when Tom Selleck is seen in ads for the reverse mortgage people. Old age = something we live to be. (period)

Perhaps getting older sux, but getting better does not. Exercise, eat right, avoid prescription meds....

“Getting old sucks.”

No doubt, Carlos Santana would much rather be Jimi Hendrix/s

Not so much depressed as disgusted.

But at least he isn’t pushing ‘Reverse Mortgages’...

Yet.

You beat me to it, and said it better.

Remember the old days when commercials could entertain and make you desire something... now all they do is push fear, despair, greed and perversity.

Joe wrote a book in his glory days with subtitle “I can’t wait for tomorrow because I get better looking every day”.
Well. tomorrow has come , Joe, and I think you have disproved your theory...but I still think you’re a good guy.

I caught an interview of Joe N. on Fox News about a week ago.

He openly talked about how he had been addicted to alcohol for years but finally, with help, became sober.

He was very lucid and seemed very “normal”.

Last time I saw him he was hammered at a Monday Nite football game of the Jets hanging on the on field announcer chick that just wanted a ticket on Southwest Airlines. Getting old really does suck.

That was the incident that pushed him to quit using alcohol. I heard him on that same Fox News interview. I have a new respect for Joe Willie.

This reminds me of a member of an earlier generation feeling sad that Joe Dimaggio was hawking Mr. Coffee.

I find the idea of Broadway Joe needing meals delivered and rides to medical appointments to be hilarious.

What about Eric Roberts and the walk-in tubs?
Kind of funny how age sneaks up on one - i don’t remember being as old as a lot of the oldsters that do the ads these days - but the calendar says I am.
