Todays Cryptogram
AKWV AWC HY XFJO FC OTY RJSCB TWCXQ, HGO AKWV AWC HY WJO FC OTY JFBTO TWCXQ. KGLFOW CVSCBS
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
SOME PEOPLE WITH GREAT VIRTUES ARE DISAGREEABLE, WHILE OTHERS WITH GREAT VICES ARE DELIGHTFUL. LA ROCHEFOUCAULD
You out-did yourself on this one, Nik.
It took me most of the night to solve it.
Very hard. Had to break down and use a computer solver.
The first word...totally slipped my mind, and I never heard of the author.
Stumped.
Conjunction, and then the small words....
I wouldn’t mind tossing a few pots with her...
5 minutes this time. Didn’t recognize the author.
Thanks, wouldn’t have solved this one without that clue...
Finally. The hint worked after trying multiple ideas.
2 minutes. Got the conjunction after the comma first.
