Had dinner at a friends restaurant this week and she was a victim of a rather elaborate scam as well.

The scammer even had ab”Go Fund Me” campaign setup, claiming theyvwere going out of business.

All kinds of stuff posted all over the internet and she paid a ton of money tracking it down and having it removed.

Man I hate putting hits on CNN’s website. I was hoping to find a reason. They probably vacationed in Hawaii and had some kind of dispute with him over an Airbnb house or something, I don’t know how else they would’ve been in contact with the guy.
