LOL HAHAHAHA A Staten Island dago jonesing for some Deep South soul food. It’s cool. This Mason-Dixon Kraut would give his left one for a good slice of NY pie. My first wife and I visited Manhattan during the holidays about 25 years ago, and we found a pizza joint that was supposedly the original Improv there. Can’t remember the name, but the food was incredible. I just know it was within walking distance of Times Square, and the old Ambassador Hotel, where my father lived in the 50’s when he was a radio broadcaster and was an understudy at the Met. That was some funky parking. I lived in DC for fifteen years but never saw parking garages use car elevators to stow your ride.
That’s some pretty cool stuff.
Great story about pop.
Yeah I wish I had a SOUTHERN transplant in the neighborhood to show us how to make those dishes well. :)
But NO ONE goes north!!!
