In the days before you could order both groceries and magazine subscriptions online, it was damn near impossible to walk through a supermarket checkout line without seeing the term bikini body plastered on glossies at the newsstand. By todays standards, strapping two pieces of material onto any body fits the bill, but a decade ago, the term was still reserved for only those with six-pack abs and not an inch of perceived bodily "imperfection" in sight.
The definition was so narrow, the ideal so unattainable, that when actress and runway model Kate Upton appeared in a bikini on her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover in 2012, people straight-up called her fat. Fast forward five years to when she appeared on the magazines cover again in 2017a year after Ashley Graham became the first curve model to cover the issueand that same body was criticized for not being diverse enough, proving just how much our definition of the bikini body has changed for the better over the last 10 years

Didn’t realize it was Camel Toe Tuesday at FR...
See RDP for the real McCoy.
Good call. You may have saved a life tonight.
Yesterday, I went to the Dollar General and there was some guy from one of the chip companies stocking the rack. His freakin' pants were drooping and when he bent over (which I was soooo lucky to see) 3 inches of his butt crack showed. What company would hire someone who dresses like a thug wannabe? Then I went to the market and the guy in charge of the produce was busy with the vegetables and HIS pants were sagging below his waist and the guy is like 55 years old. And it's all so depressing. There's no joy anymore; no beauty. This is the world the leftists nutjobs have constructed for us. /rant
Curvy beats skinny every time. Most really fit healthy girls I see, I wish they would add about 10-15 pounds of baby fat, especially if it goes to all the right places like the hips and derrière. Straight bodies don’t have as much appeal to me. A lady who’s bikini strings dig into her baby fat a little bit is way sexier to me than one who looks like a bikini on a mannequin. Men should have hard bodies. Ladies should be a bit soft and a lot curvy.
This is more my taste.
Yeah that more my taste.
Phew smoken hot.
This thread should never end!!!
Changing the face of media with twitter-bots.
I tried to explain to a young person not long ago how people used to dress in the Las Vegas casinos in the 1960s. The fun was to play make believe you were rich and painting the town red in Monte Carlo. Men wore suits or sport coats and ties at the least. Women wore gowns. I explained how people in Vegas today just have shorts and sandals with white socks, T-tops, what have you.
Completely lost. I was like talking to a cat. He just had no comprehension that appearance could matter. Comfort and individuality are everything.
What’s next, wearing PJs to weddings and funerals?
In other words, body shaming of fit people is still okay, according to some unattractive bitchy public scolds.

I am female and I agree with you-there was a photo in another article of that model they are referring to in this article-she is not curvy in any sense of the word-she is just plain fat-like a heifer in leggings cruising the aisles in Walmart fat...
Kate Upton doesn’t look fat-she just needs to do some crunches and leg lifts to pull that midriff and belly in. Being slender, small boned and flat chested I used to be soooo envious of women with the big boobs and real hips, etc-until I got old, that is-working out with weights I’m able to have nice strong arms, a flat midriff and be braless-women my age with the kind of body I used to envy are mostly carrying around a good 20 pounds or more of excess fat and wearing harness bras-it appears that the thinner, less feminine shape ages a bit better-not sure if that is a matter of hormones, genetics, diet, exercise or combination of some/all...
Female Beauty is a blessing and a curse.
A blessing in that it is a wonder to behold and attracts many suitors.
A curse in that it stimulates envy and hated from the women who do not have it also attracts many of the wrong kind of suitors.
A subject that has been much expounded upon throughout the ages.
Too late-it is already happening...
One time when I visited/spent time with my guy in the city we were at Walmart getting steak and veggies to cook for dinner-there was a woman in what were obviously PJs and a pair of flip flops wandering through the aisles putting items into her cart-it was just after noon...
When I said I had never seen such a thing, he just shrugged and said he has seen that several times. At least people out here in the boonies don’t wear PJs in public-yet...
Wait, what? We couldn’t order groceries and magazine subscriptions online in 2012?
Actually I think that sort of thing speaks for itself.
