How about a flip phone, not a smart phone, just a basic flip phone?

They both have a basic ‘flip’ phone for emergency use. They can barely use them. My dad wanted to call someone using his flip phone (why he didn’t use the landline, I have no idea) so he got my mom to dial the number for him. Somehow, she got MY cell number (not even close to the number she supposedly dialed) & my dad left a message on my voicemail for this other person. Mom denied calling my number vociferously - I had to play the voicemail back to her on my phone & she still denied she called me, then said she didn’t know how it happened. Frankly, they have trouble even using the landline - I end up making a lot of calls for them. If they manage to get the right person, then they can’t hear/understand them, even with hearing aids. As I said before, both are quite elderly - one upper 90’s, the other upper 80’s. It’s an “adventure” of one sort or another with them every day!
It’s just fortunate to still be around at those ages.
