I know the adage about fighting yesterday’s wars, but does anyone believe that today’s America could move that much material in such a short time frame?

I know the adage about fighting yesterdays wars, but does anyone believe that todays America could move that much material in such a short time frame? Which also deals with the character of today's force, and is a good question, as is how much is the contrast btwn today's military production capability and that of WW2, as detailed in the FR thread: How ridiculous was American production in World War 2
