Generally speaking women have cleaner bathroom habits than men. If there is no urinal, Men leave the seat up, often pee on the seat, don’t flush. These bathrooms go against human nature.
i don’t want to share a bathroom with any guy that’s not my husband.
to date i have only seen 1 man in the ladies room, and it was an old, fat guy, clearly not pretending to be a woman.

I worked at a big box in high school. One of my jobs (because no one else wanted it) was to clean the public restrooms at the end of the night.
All I can say is, no. That is not the case at all.
The janitorial staff prefers to clean the men’s rooms. Men don’t dirty up the sinks or use paper products. In our community park when they remodeled the bathrooms they closed one side at a time and brought in gender specific porta-potties to replace the closed bathroom. This was no problem for the men, but the women would pull in and read the sign then get back in their cars and leave. Personally I would have given the women the men’s room while theirs was being remodeled and just let the men enjoy the outhouse. This fairness thing can be a pain in the ass.
