Just watched Mitch speak on yesterday's impeachment vote
Soooo....where can we see???
I was hoping he was going to address Pelosi’s attempt to withhold the articles from the Senate.
he needs to Set a deadline as to when the House sends over the articles .....if not here by date X..we will Vote to dismiss
It is Mitch’s best moment!
If it was worth a vanity thread, you could have at least told us what he actually said. Can’t you provide a few quotes?
I did not get to see any of it...can you please give me a run down of what he said?
Video or it didn’t happen
It Was awesome.
Now ling-a-ling is speaking.
Reading between the lines, the senate will not accept these unacceptable and illegitimate Articles of Impeachment. Well see.
Schumer doing damage control now.
I disagree. I was looking for McConnell to simply state that the Senate does not need to wait for “submission” of the articles to act.
It was live on youtube.
The Turtle used common sense and said the impeachment was rushed, partisan, political and unfair to Pres. Trump and led to two weak articles of impeachment. i.e. what anyone with a lick of common sense knows.
Mitch...WOW
Transformed from turtle to Eagle.
Your thoughts are irrelevant.
The leader knows what he is doing and has a better grasp of the situation than the peanut gallery
Nobody criticizes Mitch more than me but I have also always said that nobody picks up the ruler and raps knuckles better than Mitch McConnell. He just sent San Fran Nan the message. This mess is going to get dismissed. Forget a trial.
Look for one day to let both sides present their case and then a dismissal vote.
I’d make that deadline today at 11:00 pm est.
Not so much. McConnell lost an opportunity by not ordering the trial or acquittal vote to proceed immediately without the need for the transmission of the impeachment to the Senate, which is NOT a requirement listed in the Constitution.
Very disappointed the the Senate leader is letting the Democrats dictate the proceedings and dragging this out unnecessarily.
