My sister’s family is $2400/month for them and 3 boys. Thats with a $6K deductible.

A friend of mine is self employed with his wife and two sons on his health insurance, all healthy and no pre-existing conditions, and their health insurance is about the same price. That’s in Mississippi, not California.
Yes, it is ridiculous. It’s pretty much the norm now though. Thanks to Obama half the country is getting free or subsidized health care from the government while the rest of us pay 10X as much to fund it. The insurance companies are laughing all the way to the bank because at its core Obamacare was a payoff to the insurance industry.
Me and my family pay more than that they per year. It sucks bad.
he could just simply pay the penalty. Next year every resident in CA here HAS to have insurance.
