"...woman was mauled to death by the family dog..." Here we go again, but of course, it's not the pit bull's fault.
This breed needs to be declared by Congress as exotic animals, which require special licensing and facilities to legally keep.

Pit bulls have high cortisol levels...
When we domesticate animals we breed for LOW cortisol levels.
Some breeds of dog are reverse domesticated....
