Battery prices, which were above $1,100 per kilowatt-hour in 2010, have fallen 87% in real terms to $156/kWh in 2019. By 2023, average prices will be close to $100/kWh, according to the latest forecast from research company BloombergNEF https://about.bnef.com/blog/battery-pack-prices-fall-as-market-ramps-up-with-market-average-at-156-kwh-in-2019/

AT $100/kWh puts them on par with ICE.

Get used to it.

How about you head on over to autozone or advanced and find me the price for a complete battery pack replacement for an EV. Oh that’s right- you can’t. They are way too expensive and heavy to mess with. How about finding a complete battery pack replacement for a Chevy volt on line? Never mind cheesy articles.
