Those early years on FR (I started reading the Whitewater page on Prodigy’s bulletin board in 1996) were pretty heady, withe the March for Justice on 10/31/98 and Clinton’s impeachment on 12/19/98.
We thought that would be the time of the Great Awakening.
With the squeaker election of 2000, and 9/11/01, we thought that would lead to the Great Awakening.
By 2007 and the near debacle on immigration we were thoroughly disabused of that notion.
The rise of Obama, and our feckless GOP candidates in 2008 and 2012, and the unjust Ocare ruling by Roberts were the nadir of our despair.
We came back and gave the GOP the House and the Senate, not realizing they were fully part of the Swamp too.
Then in, June 2015, Trump came down the escalator.
History changed.
Now, after three years of preparation, the Great Awakening has begun.
I am grateful to God to allow me to see these days.
It has been a long march.

I, too, an very grateful to God to be alive at this time.
It sure HAS been quite a ride.
Some days I’m not sure if I will be alive to see how it all ends but I have great faith and know WHO will win and I am on that side.
We sure have has some very awesome FR people that have left their legacy for us to carry on.
We all must pick up the mantle and soldier on.

I had mine in July. I got here via the same route, Whitewater page on Prodigy’s bulletin board in 1996. Got to that Whitewater page via Drudge. In 1998 Jim made us all Re-Register with an Email.
There have been many exciting times since then, but I agree Donald J Trump has finally started the Awakening we’ve all longed for these many years. I would also say Rush Limbaugh along with FR were foundational.
Times are a changing. Glad you are here with us.
