Doesn’t sound like that big a deal. Wiring should be easily fixable. If the wing or fuselage has to be redone, that’s a big deal.

I was watching an episode of ‘Air Disasters’, think it was the United 800 crash off Long Island.
Thought they said high voltage and low voltage wiring was in the same bundle. Caused a LV fuel sensor wiring in the center tank to short out with HV wires.

Hard to imagine Boeing would have high and low voltage in the same bundle. That’s a no-no in Energy Management computer controlled systems, among other systems.
