Qassem Soleimani, a new Morning Consult/Politico survey finds fewer than 3 in 10 registered voters can identify the Islamic republic on an unlabeled map.

The best way to learn geography is to travel. If you can’t travel at least read books about historic events and people.
To learn geography in fine detail play historical wargames.

I must admit I have more trouble with identifying NE on an unmarked map than Iran because NE is shaped the same as all the other states in that area. :)

I was a Geography major and could not just glance at a blank map and locate it.

I would have to first locate ones I knew for certain then track to Iran.
