ESPECIALLY small dairy farms. They have been declining for a long time. It is a 24/7 job and you cannot miss a milking.
I will be pragmatic and say that we need to promote farming,stop importing food and if need be,to import farmers who will gladly farm (such as the South Africans). All I see now is farm land turning to mega sprawl. It’s all so disgusting.
Why sell milk when you can get 10 times as much profit for bottled water...out of a tap besides.
