Well, that makes all the difference...I’m approaching 68 and 30 feet might be enough for me - I had to demonstrate to my wife that even I can get to her from 30 feet away before she has her weapon out and ready...nothing like direct knowledge to increase one’s sense of situational awareness.
Sorry, I was goofing around. In the movie Litttle Big Man the lead character could shoot out the eyes of a gnat at fifty feet...but he soon found out how much harder it was to shoot a human being at any range.
I’m always glad to be reminded of the dangers of a knife- wielder at any range. I live near the Canadian border and on a day like today, snowy, wind blowing, the difficulty of drawing one’s firearm under heavy clothing is hard to exaggerate.
