The old days for me were the early '80s. Had an affair with an early '60s Hollywood blonde icon more than twice my age but still smoking hot. At the time I was a Marine at the stumps and drove over when I had libo. Met her in one of the old casinos at 2 in the morning when she walked up and started talking to me like we'd been friends forever. One hell of a ride. Traded Christmas cards for years after it was over.

Went back in '98 and didn't recognize the place. People were like an extension of LA, no thanks.

2.5 billion... laundering book value. ;)

I spent a week in Las Vegas back in the 1970s, after the van I was driving across country broke down. The guys who towed me out of the desert were cool and let me hang out and crash at their place while the van was being fixed.

Met a show girl and sampled the downtown nightlife while I was there...but alas, no Hollywood starlets.
