“He’s estimated there are around 1,000 great whites off the South Carolina coast every winter”.
I will take his estimation (a fisherman on the water) over the so called fishery scientists who get it wrong in every instance.
Of course thats their job- shut down American production,kill American industry then fill market demand with imports mostly from communist countries.
The successful proliferation of white sharks since 1997 is amazing to me.
They have made an incredible comeback here on the East Coast.
This of course is helped along by the protection of seals also.
Right now I would say we have many more white sharks , than makos in our Mass. waters during the summer.
