I believe HP Lovecraft wrote a story about a man who required Cold Air. Turns out the guy was dead and began to rot if he was in a warm room. Just saying.

damn! i read that story when i was about 15 and it totally freaked me out; it made such an impression that i still remember it to this day ... of course, i just HAD to read all of his other stuff after that as well ...
