I live in Richmond. Northam wants a violent crisis in the worst way as a boost for his anti-gun agenda. For God’s sake they’re closing all but one entrance to capital square which can hold 12-15 thousand people. There is no justification for doing this.

Why do we do this? HB 961 is being voted on today in the House of Delegates. It will be law before the end of next week. It makes all magazines over 10 rounds illegal (no grandfather clause), all semi-automatic firearms (handgun, rifle, shotgun, and revolving shotguns) will become unlawful; all private firearms sales have to have a universal background check, it will be illegal for parents to teach their children how to safely operate firearms (this is paramilitary activity per the law); all new firearms purchases have to be registered with the state; and lastly all semi-automatic firearms and those revolver shotguns will be confiscated starting January 1, 2021. Someone on this thread said to wait and let the courts kill these laws. Where in this country could a suit against a law get to the Supreme Court in less than a year?

Remember that date because that will be when the fur really starts to fly, if it doesn't before then.
