UNDERSTOOD.
I was once, long ago, relatively “well-known” in my home county in NETX, as a hunter who LIKED my hunting dogs in a “compact size”.
My 2 best GSP were both spayed bitches, who were “the runt of the litter” & BOTH were great as hunters of birds, squirrels & in one case my “pint-size bitch” MOLLY would trail/bay wounded deer.
(I do NOT expect to live long enough to find a “all-around hunting dog” even 1/2 as good as my old MOLLY was.)
