Microsoft got off lucky, if Ballmer had his with with most stuff the company would be in ruins today.
Open source can certainly have bugs, but it’s pretty hard to hide a virus in it when anyone can read the code.
In the past six months I’ve had hardware issues with older XP machines. Nothing I couldn’t handle but XP tripped into needing an authentication redo. Since I couldn’t do that (no servers online) I became locked out of two XP machines, permanently.

There should be a law that requires a company to open its access the day it chooses to shutdown support. Especially disable this XP lockout charade.
only retards use windows, .net, visual xyz, etc. etc.
