Can we vaccinate this thread, because it’s live?
Some things to keep in mind is how will China keep all these cities, etc,. stocked with food and water?
I think a great number of deaths may end up being from lack of food, water, medical supplies, and the secondary diseases that will turn up like typhus and such.
I have a feeling that somehow Christians who postpone vaccinations on their babies will get blamed for this pandemic...like always.
Friend I visited today had purchased, and was mailing masks to family in China. No masks locally or online in China.
She described family there as industrious, strong willed, and stoic, so if they are nervous, it is scary bad.
Wuhan is literally THE land-bound crossroads of transportation for the most populated part of China. If you look at a map of China, geographic north from Wuhan is Beijing, geographic west from Wuhan is Chongqing and Chengdu, geographic east from Wuhan is Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou, and geographic south from Wuhan is Guangzhou. As such, the disease would have spread throughout China VERY quickly before the quarantine, given China's modern air travel and high-speed passenger rail system. Yikes. 😱😷

“Live Thread 1-26”??...we doing this on CST? (”China Standard Time”) The thread got posted on 1-25-2020 at 4pm PST.
Can you compare the number deaths to the flu?
Do we a need a live thread for the flu?
It’s like far, far worse than what the Chicoms are letting on. Bet the ranch on it.
I tell you, if this stuff hits my area, I’m not gonna go to the hospital. That place will be way too peopley. I’ll just stay home and ride it out.
The Hong Kong government has decided to convert an unoccupied public estate in Fanling into temporary flats for quarantine.

The people in the neighborhood are protesting outside the estate right now. They are not happy that the government is planning to send the suspected cases (majority of them are from mainland China) to the neighborhood at the expense of them.

Tip for reading Chinese websites.
The new Edge browser will translate some Chinese websites after loading the page.
For websites that do not translate you can install One Click Translate Extension. After installations just right click the text and click translate. Note: this not work on images it has to be regular text.
Hopefully this into will help us find and verify data from China.
Wife was in Home Depot this morning. Said the customers in front of her were buying up the last remaining boxes of masks. She overheard heard them telling the cashier that they would be shipping the masks to family in China. I imagine the factories are already cranking up to replace inventory.

Whew, the A&M student tested negative. Still awaiting the Baylor test results.
The Texas Department of State Health Services said Friday four people in Texas have been tested for coronavirus.
So, two who haven’t been identified by location. The “filed under” at the top mentions Dallas/Ft. Worth so maybe that’s the 4th one?
