It does neither. If it’s made in the lab you can probably detect it by looking for splice points in the sequence. Since it’s an RNA virus it would be somewhat more complicated to engineer but not that difficult.

It has already been engineered. We did it in the US. China Bats combined with Sars. Layman’s terms.
