"The virus first finds a “host cell”, climbs inside and begins replication. Then that one (or 10) cell explodes several days later to infect throughout the body.

If it's presence in the host person is limited to being on the *inside* of 1 (or 10) cells for the first several days, then the host can't spread the infection to others during that time.

That could only happen "post-explosion" when infectious material spreads to the respiratory tract, right?

It would also mean that an infected person would not be detected reliably and would be released into the population to infect later.

That makes sense, post explosion.

But that could still be 5 days before they get sick. It’s known that people are contagious many days before they fall ill.

Crazy behavior. A lot of pros are worried.

Plus, since it’s an RNA virus it mutates 100X as fast as a DNA virus like Smallpox.

In fact, it’s subtly different today than last week. Likely different with each generation of infection.

It looks like it’s going to run its course and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it.

Whatever that course may be.
